What's in store on this year's conference agenda

Recycling And Reuse: Since launching the world’s first event on Carbon Fibre Recycling and Reuse in 2008, the conference has regularly featured sessions on this topic. In 2014 it will revisit this subject in detail, with a full day’s programme showcasing the latest R&D, commercial viewpoints, and regulatory developments as well as end-user perspectives on recycling and reuse of carbon fibre composites.

 Site tour

This year's forum delegates will be able to enjoy an exclusive tour of the pilot line at Aachen University.

The Institut für Textiltechnik belongs to the Faculty for Mechanical Engineering of RWTH Aachen University. The facility boasts facilities covering the whole process chain from precursor, carbon fibre conversion, surface treatment, preforming technology, prepregging, autoclave processing and testing. Guests will benefit from a guided tour of the full facility including presentation of the latest optimisation studies undertaken by the research team.
