Known for its resistance to abrasions, tears and scuffs, Cordura fabric is a primary ingredient in many of the world’s leading high-performance gear and apparel products ranging from luggage, upholstery and backpacks to footwear, military equipment, tactical wear, workwear and performance apparel.

Invista's Cordura brand team welcomed Iain Bradley as European business manager for the Performance and Protective Fabrics group in October.

In his new role, Bradley will lead marketing, sales, and new business development activities to help grow Cordura branded sales in military and outdoor/performance apparel markets in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. 

He will also develop and execute marketing plans to increase brand recognition and new fabric adoptions among outdoor and performance apparel manufacturers who seek fabrics that are both durable and functional.

Bradley brings more than 20 years of experience of the textile-related industries, with more than eight years of hands-on experience as a leader in international sales, marketing and business development. With his background, Bradley will aid in the development and expansion of the Cordura brand in the region.

Prior to joining Invista's Cordura brand team, Bradley served as European business manager for Spilo Ltd., specializing in technical geo-textile products. He also served as the European commercial director and company secretary for the SANS Fibres, European business, where he was responsible for new business development and product line management.

Additionally, Bradley worked with UNIFI International Services, Inc. as the director of sales, marketing and customer service. Known for its resistance to abrasions, tears and scuffs, Cordura fabric is a primary ingredient in many of the world's leading high-performance gear and apparel products ranging from luggage, upholstery and backpacks to footwear, military equipment, tactical wear, workwear and performance apparel.
