TenCate Advanced Armour targets Middle East

TenCate Advanced Armour has announced the opening of a permanent sales office in the Middle East with Mr Yohann Barnaud, who has been managing TenCate Advanced Armour sales in the Gulf Cooperation Council region and Eastern Europe, being appointed director.

Part of the TenCate Advanced Armour worldwide growth strategy is to expand its local footprint in major markets for armour materials in order to support major defence programs and enhance business sustainability.

It is the next step in our long-term strategy for providing the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East with state-of-the-art armour technologies in a manner which not only improves the defence and security capability of the country but also creates a capability which will be of benefit to industrial development," stated Steen Tanderup, managing director of TenCate Advanced Armour.

TenCate Advanced Armour is a global leader in the design and production of lightweight armour solutions for a wide range of vehicles, from light patrol vehicles to heavy transport vehicles and main battle tanks, as well as for naval vessels, aircraft and personnel.

The company also designs and manufactures armour solutions for civil security and policing applications and company operates from production facilities and sales offices in The Netherlands, France, Denmark, UK, USA, Singapore and India.
