Nonwovens have been one of the fastest growing and most exciting sectors of the textiles market. Non -woven Technical Textiles seminar provides lucrative options for existing players in the textile industry to diversify their portfolio and hedge their risk of being associated with just one segment.

With increasing environmental concerns companies are going for environment-friendly products. For this they can look at using bio-degradable materials to produce the nonwovens rather than using oil based polymers.

So, more entrepreneurs in India should be encouraged to diversify to nonwoven. Therefore ,there is a very huge potential in India to become not only a large market but also a manufacturing hub for manufacturing nonwovens.

The seminar that will take place on 4 July 2014 at the PHD House in New Delhi, will focus on the following objectives:

  • Government Initiatives for Promotion of Technical Textiles in India
  • Suitable strategy for the development of Technical textiles in India
  • Encourage domestic industry to explore the area of technical textiles and nonwovens
  • Bringing academicians, researchers and industry under one umbrella to discuss the growth potential of the sector and seek areas of co-operation and investment
  • To increase the business opportunities associated with this sector
  • To increase the awareness about the application of technical textile amongst the consumer and user industry
