EDANA, the nonwovens and related industries trade association has announced that the 2010 edition of the Nonwovens Research Academy has been rescheduled to 16 and 17 November, 2010, which is this year jointly organised with the Institut für Textiltechnik of RWTH Aachen University (ITA).

The Nonwovens Research Academy aims to promote fundamental understanding and knowledge of the science and technology of nonwoven fabrics, products and processes as well as related disciplines. The event brings together an interdisciplinary group of academics, students, researchers, scientists and engineers to present and disseminate pre-competitive and post-competitive research studies relevant to the nonwoven industry.

EDANA has also launched a call for papers from interested speakers, with half-page abstracts to be submitted by 9 April 2010 to Eva Fabbri ([email protected] ).
