Alma SpA, based in Florence, Italy, has installed and started up a new production line from DiloGroup for needlpunched floorcoverings.

The company is a specialist in the production of exhibition carpets, artificial grass, automotive interiors and car mats, and domestic carpets, supplied in a vast range of styles and colours. Alma also has inhouse polypropylene fibre production.

The new line consists of a DiloTemafa fibre blending and filtration system, DiloSpinnbau cards, DiloMachines high speed crosslapping and a six-metre-wide needling line, incoroporating a Di-Loop unit for high-speed structuring. It is further equipped with the latest process control and the Industry 4.0 DI-Connect system.
