Americhem Inc., a global provider of custom colour and additive solutions for synthetic fibres, will showcase its latest products at the upcoming Techtextil trade fair including its new nVision line of colour and additives for nonwovens. The company will also exhibit a wide range of sample products produced by its customers from a variety of market sectors and will have commercial and technical product experts on hand who will be available to answer questions.

Techtextil 2013 is being held from 11-13 June in Frankfurt, Germany – see www.techtextil.com.

“We have invested in industry-leading technologies in the nonwoven and technical textile market segments in recent years, enabling us to provide unique solutions to aid in speed-to-market and providing our customers with a number of competitive advantages,” said Michael Frisch, technical service manager for fibres, EMEA.

“For example, customers benefit from our pilot fibre manufacturing equipment, which includes high- and low-speed synthetic fibre spinning lines in Europe and spunbonded nonwoven fabric and monofilament manufacturing available through our global plant network.”

Americhem’s booth will also feature examples of fibre and spunbonded nonwoven fabric from the company’s pilot equipment.

Americhem masterbatches for synthetic fibres are said to be designed with superior dispersion characteristics and the company says that the products have been proven to extend pack life, as well as reduce die-face build-up for improved spin performance and yields.

Americhem is a global organization that delivers custom colour and additive solutions for customers seeking superior performance and batch-to-batch consistency for their polymer products. The company specializes in colour and additive masterbatches, and single pigment dispersions, all backed by complete technical support that it says ensures quality, reliability and value.

Americhem operates seven manufacturing plants and also maintains representative sales offices in Monterrey, Mexico  and Luxembourg. Central Research & Development facilities and headquarters are located in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
