Sigmatex strengthens commercial team

In its continuing efforts to provide an even better service to its customers, and to help it realise its full growth potential in the exciting markets that it serves, Mike Hitchen, Commercial Manager of Sigmatex recently announced the appointment of Simon Green to the commercial team.

Simon joins Sigmatex with over 15 years’ experience in a variety of commercial roles within the Aerospace, Automotive and Tooling environments. Simon brings with him, as well as a number of strong relationships within these sectors, a significant knowledge of the processes and requirements to operate within such specification biased markets.

The appointment represents one of a number of appointments that Sigmatex hopes to announce in 2013 to support the unprecedented growth that is currently being experienced.

Sigmatex is one of the world’s leading converters of carbon fibre. Having expertise in this field since 1972, it has grown rapidly to meet ever increasing demands for its products and services.

The company works with customers to create carbon fibre textiles which meet various requirements including fibre orientation, crimp, drapeability, thickness and resin permeability. “These textile solutions often require an innovative approach to textile design and process which is the core strength of Sigmatex,” the company concludes.
