OrganoClick reports positive results for 2Q 2015

For the second quarter 2015 that ended on 30 June, the group’s revenue amounted to SEK 13.41 million.

For the second quarter 2015 that ended on 30 June, the group’s revenue amounted to SEK 13.41 million (10.49), whilst the result before tax amounted to SEK -3.73 million (-3.46), compared to the same period of 2014.

For the period that lasted from 1 January until 30 June, the company reported net revenue of SEK 18.71 million (13.01), and the result before tax of SEK -9.70 million (-7.03), compared to the same period last year.

Promoting growth

“After the listing at Nasdaq First North and the raising of SEK 75 million during the first quarter, our focus has now shifted to perform the plan we have set up. Several key recruitment processes have been initiated, in particular for the sales force within our business area Performance textiles and nonwoven,” explained CEO Mårten Hellbergs.

“In June, OrganoClick was also honoured with being selected to the prestigious list Sustainia 100 that yearly selects 100 innovative sustainable innovations.”

“The sales during 2015 have increased with 44% compared with 2014. We will work hard in order to increase the growth further and are now in particular looking forward in the start of our new production facility and launch of fibre moulded material for coffins during the second half of 2015.”

OrganoClick

OrganoClick is a public Swedish cleantech company that develops, produces and markets functional materials based on environmentally friendly fibre chemistry. Examples of products that are marketed by OrganoClick are the water repellent fabric treatment OrganoTex, the flame and rot-resistant timber OrganoWood and biocomposite materials.

The company was founded in 2006 as a commercial spin-off company based on research performed at Stockholm University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences within environmentally friendly fibre chemistry.

OrganoClick has won a number of prizes and received a number of awards, such as the WWF Climate Solver award, and has also appeared for two years on the Affärsvärldens and NyTekniks list of Sweden's top 33 hottest technology companies.
