Teijin Fibers Limited, the core company of the Teijin Group’s polyester fibres business, announced yesterday that it will promote its environmentally-friendly products and ongoing expansion into Hong Kong and South China at the upcoming Interstoff Asia Essential, in collaboration with Teijin Hong Kong Limited, a Teijin group company handling sales and import and export of textile materials globally.

Interstoff Asia Essential, a biannual exhibition for eco-textiles and functional and fashionable fabrics in Asia, will be held at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong, from 7-9 October.

The Teijin booth will feature the company’s Eco Circle closed-loop recycling system for used polyester products employing Teijin’s propriety chemical recycling technology. It will also introduce the Eco Circle Garment Accessories Association, an organization dedicated to promoting the enhanced recyclability of garments through the use of eco-friendly accessories. Teijin’s recyclable fibres including Ecopet, a polyester fibre made from recycled PET bottles and Eco Circle Fibers, chemically recycled fibres produced from used polyester products, will also be displayed with various applications.
