Thermore, a leader in the research, production and marketing of thermal insulation for apparel, has released Thermore Thermal Booster, a smart insulation that is designed to become 20% warmer when the weather gets colder.

At the forthcoming ISPO and Outdoor Retailer trade shows, the company will unveil the formula behind this technology that is said to represent a breakthrough in cold weather protection, allowing users to feel comfortable no matter what the weather conditions.

According to the manufacturer, unlike phase change materials or battery-powered heaters, its effect is continuous and it never runs out. Independent test reports were carried out that showed that when temperatures drop from +20C to -10C, Thermore Thermal Booster becomes 20% warmer.

Innovative technology on display

The specially designed Thermal Booster Experience test station will allow visitors to feel the effect of this innovation. Thermore will also display the latest addition to the Thermal Booster product line, which is now completed by a mid-weight variation to further extend the usage range of the product.

The company will also present the Thermore Stretch insulation, which has recently won the ISPO Textrends 2016 Award as Best Product in the thermal insulation category. Thermore Stretch is the innovative 4-way stretch insulation that is said to offer excellent stretch capability and completely recover to its original shape time after time.
