Avery Dennison has opened a joint venture apparel manufacturing facility in Vietnam with Shenzhou Group, one of the world’s largest vertically-integrated knitted garment manufacturers.
The inauguration of Avery Dennison Worldon represents a significant milestone in a strategic investment in Vietnam, reflecting the company’s ambition to strengthen its role in the region as a key player in the textile value chain.
Located in Dong Nam Industrial Park in the Cu Chi District of Ho Chi Minh City, it will produce a diverse range of apparel and digital identification products and solutions, including Embelex on-product branding, graphics and trims, as well as RFID technology. These products are designed to elevate brand value and enhance supply chain transparency.
The strategic move aligns with broader regional economic initiatives focused on industrial modernisation and sustainable development, bridging physical and digital capabilities to better serve global brands and local markets.
“At Avery Dennison, we connect intellect and imagination, science and technology and the physical and digital,” says Michael Barton, the company’s senior vice president and general manager of apparel solutions. “We’re creating products and solutions that unlock new value and help address some of the world’s most complex challenges. Our collaboration with Shenzhou Group exemplifies the power of partnership in advancing industry transformation. By combining our strengths, we are creating a future-ready manufacturing ecosystem that accelerates innovation, empowers brands and drives sustainable growth across the apparel industry.”
