The next edition of Performance Days, leading trade fair for functional fabrics, has outperformed all of its previous superlatives, providing an expanded offer at the Performance Forum and all the tickets already sold out, organisers report.
Due to take place from 4-5 November in Munich, Germany, with a focus on Winter 2016/17 season, the event presents the latest innovative fabric trends in sports and work clothing.
Exhibitors
With 124 exhibitors at 113 exhibit stands, the halls at the Performance Days are already fully booked. This is an increase of 8% over the last year, when the show welcomed 108 at 103 stands.
Among the returning big name brands are 3M, Schoeller, Lycra, Pertex, PrimaLoft, Toray, Sympatex, and some important manufacturers like Polartec and Nilit that are coming to the exhibition for the first time.
More service
In addition to the quality of the exhibitors, the services provided to the visitors are said to have been improved. All relevant information before or during the trade fair is available online, as is the exhibitor catalogue.
The online visitor registration has already begun. The system generates a free eTicket which will be sent out twice – once when the registration is completed, and one week prior to the trade fair.
Another unique and useful tool designed for exhibitors and visitors is the Customer Matching Service, which arranges meetings between prospective suppliers and customers.
More trends
In addition to the Performance Forum, there will be an introduction of an extra table, which will be dedicated to a topic of current focus each fair.
For Winter 2016/17, this table will present all innovations in the category Insulation. The jury that selects the fabrics for the Performance Forum has also been expanded.
For the first time, besides Head Designer Alexa Dehmel and representatives from the trade fair and from consulting and Public Relations, now clothing manufacturers get to cast a vote for the best and most innovative products.
