Countdown for the third FESPA Eurasia exhibition that is set to take place from 10-13 December in Istanbul continues as the event brings together wide format digital printing, screen printing, signage, commercial printing and textile printing industries.

Following two successful editions, the partner of the event, ARED, the Sign Association of Turkey, has boosted its activities for both its members and the industry.

“Our members are interested in the event both as exhibitors and visitors. Participants are pleased that ARED and FESPA brings a focused audience to the event. The visitors – printers and sign-makers – report that they can find whatever solutions they need, and take advantage of free training activities during the exhibition,” said Ä°brahim Demirseren, ARED Vice President & FESPA Eurasia Board Member.

“They are able to catch-up with the latest digital printing trends both in Turkey and worldwide, which helps them to develop their business via making calculated investments in printing and industrial advertising, as well as raise industry quality.”

Activities and services

ARED continues to invest resources in order to develop and promote the visual communications industry, as well as raising its market share. “ARED arrange many events to fulfil this need,” commented Ä°brahim Demirseren.

“Our most important event is FESPA Eurasia which we develop with FESPA. The exhibition has been organised successfully for two years and has turned into a strong platform where we gather members of the community, share industry information and develop the market.”

“In addition to FESPA Eurasia, we conduct various training activities, having already established departments of outdoor advertising and signage in three vocational schools, and arranging various seminars within the printing sector. We also provide a legal service for our members, as well as disseminate information about new technologies and information in the global print market to members and the industry as a whole.”

Distinctive exhibition

According to ARED Vice President, FESPA is a distinctive trade fair, different from other industry events. “First of all, FESPA Eurasia seeks to develop the industry and increase awareness across sectors. Surplus revenues from the exhibition are re-invested in the industry through a number of activities conducted by both FESPA and ARED, who are non-profit establishments. Therefore, FESPA Eurasia is a very special event arranged for the benefit of the sector,” he explained.

Representing screen printing, digital printing and textile printing industries in Turkey and Eurasia region, FESPA Eurasia has delivered an effective trade show, having been accepted as a professional and respectful platform in the two years it has been in the market.

FESPA, a federation of 37 member associations for the screen printing, digital printing and textile printing community, aims to promote screen printing and digital imaging and to share knowledge about screen and digital printing with its members.

Turkish printing industry

ARED recorded an increase in its productivity and reached more industry professionals thanks to the FESPA Eurasia event, meeting new potential clients on the stand during the show.

“There is a need for more information and new technology in order to expand the Turkish printing and signage industry, which is why ARED have strong connections with international markets,” said Ä°brahim Demirseren.

“As a member of FESPA – a global federation of associations – we take part in raising the competitive power of our industry within the global market; revealing the future potential of print. We also have access to FESPA research and worldwide projects, which we share with our members and use to boost market consciousness.”
