Uster Technologies concluded a successful week at the ITMA Asia + CITME exhibition in Singapore last Friday (October 31st), having showcased key developments across its Uster 360Q universe, fabric inspection and fibre testing technologies.

The company successfully highlighted how it is supporting mills in raising process control standards and achieving consistent quality from raw fibre to finished fabric.

The Uster 360Q Platform continues to expand, offering cloud-based access to powerful analytics, Uster Intelligence and an extended Uster Academy, now featuring an integrated Chatbot, Wiki and broader e-learning programmes. Fiber2Yarn drew significant attention, combining data from FiberQ (Uster HVI) with Uster Quantum yarn clearer data to reveal the influence of raw material characteristics on yarn quality. This insight helps mills refine mixings and stabilise quality performance.

In fabric inspection, the new Uster Fabriq Vision 2 demonstrated strengthened defect detection through Smart Vision Camera 3 technology and simplified operation supported by Uster Intelligence. The Super Inspection Mode provides increased security during final inspection, enabling higher fabric yield with reduced claims.

The event also marked the regional debut of Uster AFIS 6, the first system to test man-made fibres and cotton within one unit. Its seamless integration with Uster Quality Expert and improved reporting tools support enhanced fibre process control for blends and recycled materials.

Visitors also gained updates on the Uster Quantum 4.0 yarn clearer, featuring advanced hairiness monitoring, and on the latest developments in ring spinning optimisation. Uster RSO 3D compatibility has now been extended to Rieter and Savio winders alongside existing support for Murata.

Uster continues to support mills worldwide in combining sustainability and efficiency with market-leading quality performance.
