MKs’ Autumn/Winter 2019 collection. © Mountain Khakis Mountain Khakis (MK), a leading mountain town-inspired premium lifestyle apparel brand for men and women, has introduced its new outerwear collection to the industry during this month’s Outdoor Retailer Winter Market.

“At Mountain Khakis, our mission is to design lifestyle apparel that offers great performance with sustainable elements,” commented Ned Hutchinson, Senior Product Manager.

MKs’ Autumn/Winter 2019 offerings focus on building-in sustainability with quality, new options on classic styles and materials, including responsibly sourced down, waterproof waxed canvas, stretch organic cotton, and new sustainable technologies in both silhouettes for comfort and trend for men and women.

Women’s styles

Built for all-winter warmth, the Outlaw Parka features a washable exterior and DWR coated yoke made of British Millerain waxed canvas, which sheds the snags and scratches. 650 fill grey goose down ensures warmth throughout the season; while the fleece lined hand warmer pockets, interior security pocket, removable hood and a two-way zipper make the Outlaw Parka comfortable and suitable for cold weather occasions.

Women's styles. © Mountain Khakis Charlie Jacket is a three-season casual lightweight cotton jacket. With a blend of 98% organic cotton and 2% spandex, there’s enough stretch for comfort late night with friends or a tour around the world. Two patch pockets, two chest pockets and a low mock neck collar give the Charlie just a hint of military inspiration, but the two-way zipper, slight drop tail and adjustable waist draw cord add a feminine touch to a straightforward silhouette.

Slightly cropped and on-trend, the Swagger Bomber can be dressed up or down. Ribbing at the collar, hip and wrist add the perfect urban mountain crossover stylings. Primaloft Silver insulation makes it a three-season favourite, and the internal security pocket adds practicality for a night on the town.

Triple Direct Jacket and Vest employ 60g of SeaWool insulation in a classic lightweight, DWR coated, uniquely baffled silhouette. Featuring retro fittings like a metal snap storm flap, rivet reinforced hand pockets and elastic cuffs lined with tricot, the Triple Direct creates a new classic that not only wards off winter but saves it as well.

Men’s styles

Backcountry warmth meets urban styling in MK’s new Outlaw Hooded Anorak. Featuring a DWR coated British Millerain washable waxed canvas exterior with contrast reinforcements and 650 fill Grey Goose down, this jacket has front qtr zip, kangaroo pocket, zippered chest pockets and a side zipper for easy on/off.

Expanding upon the success of the staple Mountain Khakis collection, the Old Faithful Hybrid Jacket takes the comfort of the casual jacket and adds DWR reinforcements for longevity. It combines 100% recycled poly and nylon reinforcement where you need it the most (shoulders, hood and elbows).

Men’s styles. © Mountain KhakisWith traditional jacket styling, taffeta lined sleeves for easy on/off and a high pile fleece lining in a classic buffalo check, the Buckrail Jacket looks sleek and sophisticated on the outside yet offers exceptional warmth on the inside.

Triple Direct Jacket and Vest employ 60g of SeaWool insulation in a classic lightweight, DWR coated, uniquely baffled silhouette.

Finally, part of the MK workwear line, the new Moran Insulated Shirt Jac features 60g of SeaWool insulation built into a cosy, yet durable, flannel over shirt with distinct outerwear features like a quilted taffeta lining, hand warmer pockets, and DWR exterior; while the chevron chest pocket and bison snap placket earns a place in the ‘everyday’ section of your closet.
