Thermore is launching EVOdown, a new insulation material made from 100% recycled fibres from PET bottles.

The new insulation bridges the gap between free fibres and traditional padding, delivering the ultra-soft hand and luxurious drape of blow-in fibres in a rolled form. The hybrid technology allows manufacturers of outdoor apparel and equipment to boost productivity as a result of its ease in handling.

With a unique construction, EVOdown consists of millions of free fibres encapsulated by two outer containing layers and is characterised by unbeatable easy care.

Thermore celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, having been founded in Milan, Italy, in 1972. The team today includes young talents under the age of 30, including the third generation of the founding Siniscalchi family, allowing it to stay ahead of the curve in the traditional environment of the textile industry.
