Customers and partners will be exhibiting flame retardant products in new collections for the home textiles and contract market at the Trevira CS joint stand with Indorama Ventures Fibers at Heimtextil 2024 from January 9-12.

A range of special display areas will showcase innovations in yarn production, woven and knitted fabrics and interior solar shading for a wide number of interiors applications ranging from lightweight curtains to heavy upholstery fabrics.

For the special displays, over 200 articles from more than 50 customers have been provided, in addition to fabric submissions from the Trevira CS Fabric Competition 2024.

“We are delighted that we will once again be present at Heimtextil with a large joint stand together with 17 Trevira CS partners,” saidd Trevira CS marketing director Anke Vollenbröker. “This year, we will be emphasising that Trevira CS fabrics offer everything required for a preferred personal interior lifestyle – with textiles that are safe.”

Over the years, Trevira CS has become a synonymous with flame retardant fabrics and unlike fabrics with a flame-retardant finish which can lose their initial protection through use, ageing or frequent washing, Trevira CS textiles offer long-term safety. This is due to the chemical structure of the polyester fibre – the flame-retardant properties are firmly anchored in and cannot be altered by external influences.

Trevira CS fabrics have been tested for fire safety and have received a trademark approval. They meet the requirements of all relevant international home textile fire safety standards and can be certified according to IMO regulations for the maritime sector.

Due to their inherently flame-retardant properties, they create a safe, attractive and comfortable environment for hotels, restaurants, hospitals, offices, public buildings, railways, aircrafts and cruise ships. A wide range of Trevira CS collections with thousands of designs is available worldwide.
