Floorcoverings expansion at Heimtextil 2026

Show now also providing a platform for flooring and equipment.

Heimtextil is rapidly growing into the most important hub for the global carpet industry which will be represnted across four hall levels at the next show from January 13-16 2026 in Frankfurt, Germany.

 Due to high demand this sector has been moved to the larger Halls 11, 11.1 and 12, in addition to Hall 3. Non-textile floorcoverings will also be showcased in Hall 12.

Global industry leaders whi have confirmed their participation from the machine-woven carpet sector include Balta (Belgium), Hanse Home Collection (Germany), Lalee (Germany), Merinos (Turkey), Oriental Weavers Group and EFCO (Egypt), Ragolle Rugs (Belgium) and Universal XXI (Spain).

In addition, Belgian association Fedustria will showcase the high-end products of its members, while non-textile products will complement the range.

“Some carpet companies showcase mixed collections with non-textile floor coverings which is in line with the holistic approach of Heimtextil 2026,” says the show’s director Bettina Bär. “The carpets and rugs offering is more extensive than ever and we are now taking a step further by also providing a platform for flooring and equipment.”

Hall 11 is the new home for hand-woven carpets. High-quality Indian companies such as Hafizia Arts & Craft, Heritage Overseas, Himalaya Concepts, Javi Home, Looms & Knots, Maurya International, Nirmal International, Rugs INC., Teppiche de Orienta and The Rug Republic will be present, while in.Hall 11.1 there will be joint stands from China and India including the participation of the latter’s Carpet Export Promotion Council and the Handloom Export Promotion Council.

In Hall 3, carpet exhibitors will present their collections as part of the DecoTeam and the adjacent Design Lounge powered by the DecoTeam. Among them are companies such as Paulig Teppichweberei with the Haro brand, Infloor-Girloon, Otto Golze & Söhne, Theko, with its brand worlds Sansibar Sylt, Tom Tailor and Natur Pur, and Tisca.

The Future Floor area in Hall 12 will offer customised content formats specifically for the flooring industry. The area will showcase a curated selection of exhibitor products  with a focus on sustainability, innovative materials and forward-looking designs. In the Talk Spot, experts will provide insights into current carpet trends and industry developments and there will also be guided tours to selected must-see companies.
