Future Materials Group (FMG) based in Cambridge, UK, acted as the exclusive sell-side M&A advisor to Sleaford, UK-headquartered SHD Composites in its sale to Cambium, of El Segundo, California.

The acquisition brings together SHD’s established expertise in advanced composite materials with Cambium’s high-performance materials business.

SHD Composites is a global manufacturer of advanced composite prepreg materials serving the aerospace, high-performance automotive, motorsport and industrial markets. It operates four sites –

one in the UK, two in the USA and a fourth in Slovenia. Together with Cambium's California operations, the combined company will have a global innovation and manufacturing footprint capable of serving customers wherever they operate.
