Turkish Nonwovens Symposium, organised by EDANA, the leading association for the nonwovens and related industries, will take place from 10-11 November 2015 in Istanbul.

The second of its kind to be held in Turkey, the Symposium will focus on Turkey and its key trading regions, including Europe and the Middle East.

“At the request of our member companies, and the Turkish nonwovens industry, we are returning our successful symposia to Turkey, to bring together the local and international nonwovens and related industries,” said Pierre Wiertz, General Manager of EDANA.

Crossroads of Europe and Asia

The Turkey Nonwovens Symposium is designed to bring together key players within the nonwovens and related industries, providing an environment for delegates to both attend sessions with renowned business consultants and authoritative industry speakers. It also aims to engage their business partners in the various formal and informal networking opportunities offered throughout the event.

“Turkey sits at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, and has strong ties to the Middle East, giving local businesses, and companies with Turkish production or representation an advantage in doing business with these critical regions,” commented Mr Wiertz.

Call for papers

EDANA invites industry experts to submit their proposed presentation topics for consideration until 4 May. Submissions should include the title, 4-5 bullet points outlining the presentation, and name of the proposed speaker.

Table top exhibition space will also be offered to enable companies to establish new business contacts, promote their brand to a global audience, launch and demonstrate new technologies, products and services and save time and money.
