Norwest Equity Partners (NEP), an investment firm based in Minneapolis, has made a significant investment in QTI Fibers, a leading vertically integrated designer and manufacturer of highly technical fibres, fabrics and coatings for consumer, healthcare and industrial applications.
Founded in 1922, QTI is comprised of three brands – Twitchell Technical Products, based in Dothan, Alabama, Quantum Materials, of Colfax North Carolina, and Infinity Woven Products, also of Dothan, Alabama.
The three companies serve a diversified customer base that includes office furniture manufacturers, architectural products providers, outdoor living companies, marine manufacturers, healthcare and other industrial businesses.
“We are thrilled to welcome QTI to our family of portfolio companies,” said Tim DeVries, NEP managing partner. “It is poised for continued growth, and we look forward to working closely with the entire team to create long-term, sustainable value together.”
