Santex aims to strengthen local sales organisation in India

This month the company has appointed Jude Britto as Head of Sales for Technical Textiles and Emerging Technologies.

Jude Britto took over his new responsibility as Head of Sales (Technical Textiles and Emerging Technologies) within Santex Engineering India PVT Ltd. © SantexSwiss-based Santex Group, the leading manufacturer of textile machines for knit fabrics finishing, aims to improve the local sales organisation in India in the segment of technical textiles.

This month the company has appointed Jude Britto as Head of Sales for Technical Textiles and Emerging Technologies.

Mr Britto has been with Santex Engineering India PVT, the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Santex Group in Coimbatore, for nearly 11 years. This new sales setup allows the company to be in direct contact with its partners and discuss potential new projects. At the same time this will ensure continuous support and service in the Indian market.

Representation in India

Mr Britto will be responsible for sales of the product portfolio from Cavitec, Isotex, SperottoRimar and Solwa.

The company’s representatives in India, FabIndia / Knitfab, will still be responsible for the textile segment mainly for knits. Santex thanked FabIndia / Knitfab for the work they have done for many years in the Indian market.

Swiss company Santex AG, established 1982, is the leading manufacturer of textile machines for knit fabrics finishing. Under the Cavitec brand the company also develops and manufactures machines for coating and laminating of technical textiles.
