Members of INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, will hear insights from a prominent economist and political correspondent at its 2015 Annual Meeting and Leadership Conference that takes place from 23-25 February.

The Leadership Conference in Hilton Head, SC, will feature economist Brian Beaulieu, CEO of ITR Economics, and MSNBC political correspondent Bob Franken, an Emmy-award winning reporter.

Additionally, INDA’s Director of Market Research and Statistics, Brad Kalil, and Director of Government Affairs, Jessica Franken, will lead an interactive symposium on their areas providing members opportunities to gain more awareness of their specialized interests.

Renowned speakers

Brian Beaulieu, a renowned speaker and author on the current economic outlook, will discuss his research on business cycle trends and how companies can apply it. He is also Chief Economist for Vistage International and TEC, global organisations comprised of more than 13,000 CEOs.

Prior to joining ITR and becoming its CEO in 1987, he was an economist for the U.S. Department of Labor, where he worked on the health care component of the Consumer Price Index.

Bob Franken is well positioned to provide insights on this year’s new Congressional make up and an early read on the 2016 Presidential candidates. He has been reporting history’s turning points for decades, bringing millions of viewers to the front row at the world’s major news events, including wars, politics, legal, and financial stories.

Unique meeting opportunity

The three-day event draws industry professionals from the entire nonwovens value chain for a combination of INDA’s Annual Meeting and the Leadership Conference, plus opportunities to meet and network with members at the Sea Pines Resort.

“INDA’s Annual Meeting & Leadership Conference presents a unique opportunity for INDA members to engage in programme content that will spark their imaginations and provide new ideas to take back to their organizations,” commented Dave Rousse, INDA President.

“It also is a time to hear about the impactful activities INDA has been involved with as well as participate in the governance of INDA. I encourage all INDA Members to get the most out of their membership and the Annual Meeting & Leadership Conference is one excellent way to maximize your ROI.”
