Benecke-Kaliko, a manufacturer of technical and decorative surface materials made of plastics, will exhibit at Heimtextil trade fair that takes place from 12-15 January in Frankfurt, with four product ranges from the new Dynactiv Surfaces product portfolio.
This will be the first time that the company will be appearing at the leading international trade fair for home and contract textiles.
Broad portfolio
With the acquisition of two new plants in Pamplona, Spain, and Wagrowiec, Poland, last year, the surface specialist Benecke-Kaliko has significantly expanded its industrial business. The company is now offering innovative products for a large array of different industrial sectors with the materials from its new Dynactiv Surfaces range.
“At Heimtextil, we want to show our customers that, in addition to a broad product portfolio for high-quality automotive interior materials, we are now very well established in the industrial sector as well,” commented Fernando Elizburu, Marketing Manager Dynactiv Surfaces at Benecke-Kaliko.
Products’ properties
At the leading trade fair, Benecke-Kaliko will be focusing on four product groups for the furniture industry: Dynactiv Home, Dynactiv Hospitality, Dynactiv Health, and Dynactiv Mobility.
“We not only supply high-quality materials with an extremely broad selection of colours and designs. Our materials also display particularly impressive properties, such as extremely high abrasion resistance, outstanding fire retardant characteristics, extremely high UV light resistance, and extremely good cleaning properties, which far exceed the standards in these areas,” said Elizburu.
“We are also able to produce our products according to a number of different fire protection certifications to cater to a wide range of countries and requirements. And we develop customized surfaces – in line with individual customer requirements.”
Customized solutions
The surface materials of the Dynactiv Home range for interior and exterior seating furniture are said to be ultra-resistant and particularly easy to clean. Dynactiv Health products were developed for the health sector, day care facilities, and also fitness studios. They feature special anti-static coatings with no additives that are harmful to health and are resistant to bacteria, fungus, and viruses, thereby conforming to the highest hygiene standards, according to the manufacturer.
Dynactiv Hospitality products are used in hotels, restaurants, and bars, in cinemas, and also in shopping centres. All the materials in this range are highly resistant to abrasion and aggressive substances, as well as being very easy to clean, the company reports. Dynactiv Mobility solutions from Benecke-Kaliko are tailored toward applications in public transport, vehicles, ships, and yachts. They are extremely durable, fire-retardant, and lightweight.
Dynactiv Surfaces portfolio
The Dynactiv Surfaces product portfolio comprises eight different product groups overall. In addition to the four listed above, the portfolio also includes Dynactiv Blend materials (blends, granulates, and recycled material blends), Dynactiv Power products (state-of-the-art and energy-producing protective covers for natural conservation of resources), Dynactiv Protection surfaces (protective and work clothing), and Dynactiv Fashion products (base materials for the fashion industry).
“Our customers benefit from a broad spectrum of products of the highest quality and an optimum on-site service. We are also incorporating our global development and design expertise, our global network, and our know-how in the industrial sector to an even greater extent,” explained Elizburu.
