Filatura C4 has recently become Re.Verso partner of excellence for smart wool yarns for contract and woven fabrics for fashion.

“Thanks to a shared philosophy and dedication to sustainable manufacturing and business, both companies have collaborated, with the support of C.L.A.S.S., to present a new dimension in eco-smart re-engineered wool based yarns,” commented Alessio Catani, Managing Director of Filatura C4.

New textile platform

Re.Verso is a new textile platform that works together with its textile partners to produce a fully integrated, 100%, Made in Italy textile collection. With a dynamic approach to production, Re.Verso aims to make its products in a responsible manner, utilising fully traceable materials and processes that are also 100% Made in Italy.

The brand’s supply chain relies on a number of companies, including Green Line, a leading company in the selection, collection and waste management of scraps of pre-consumer textile materials, Nuova Fratelli Boretti, A. Stelloni Collection by Mapel, and Filpucci, a company that aims to find new ways to practice innovation by reducing exploitation of natural resources.

Through its partnerships, Re.Verso targets different sectors of the textile market. For example, the brand is using A. Stelloni Collection By Mapel expertise in fashion textiles, and Filpucci’s knowledge of hi-end knitwear yarns. Now with Filatura C4, Re.Verso hopes to promote its innovative yarns for contract, furniture design and generally woven fabrics.

Joint venture

This joint venture started following the Filatura C4 decision to utilise the unique added value the Re.Verso concept is said to offer. This includes the creation of high quality products through Research & Development of materials with low environmental impact, as well as the use of sustainable and recycled raw materials.

According to the company, this launch demonstrates that the Re.Verso concept, which was introduced into the fashion market following the successful collaboration with Gucci, is gaining, step by step, a real acknowledgement as a sector leader.

This, the company believes, can be attributed to several relevant factors, such as the original approach, traceability, transparency, and highly technological system and process involved. The system is certified Global Recycling Standard (GRS), ISO 9001 and SA8000.

Re.Verso collection

This collection by Filatura C4 has been created to meet the increasing market demands for environmental responsibility. The yarns in this Re.Verso collection are manufactured from a combination of natural fibres, mainly re-engineered wool coming from pre-consumer textile materials, with artificial, traditional synthetic and technical fibres.

Through this Re.Verso line, the company aims to offer products of good quality, with low environmental impact, using eco-sustainable raw materials in an eco-responsible production process. The Re.Verso yarns are available in a wide range of counts that may vary from Nm 5.000 to Nm 9.500 and can be offered in single end or twisted.
