The Lycra Company has been unveiling its latest innovations for the denim industry at this week’s Intertextile Shanghai (September 2-4).
These include Lycra VintageFX denim technology which delivers vintage looks in low-stretch fabrics, Lycra EcoMade fibre derived from a renewable feedstock and Lycra FitSense denim technology which adds targeted shaping and lift zones to garments, in addition to Coolmax and Thermolite EcoMade fibre variants.
The company’s stand in Shanghai has featured an open-concept co-creation space with four key industry partners, as part of a larger 788-square-metre pavilion, which accommodated 18 co-exhibitors in total.
Lycra partner Lianxingfa displayed an expanding range of applications for Lycra Adaptiv fibre, while Shining showcased its performance differentiation. Trend Textile meanwhile presented sustainable knits made with Lycra FiT400 and Narik highlighted seamless garments powered by Lycra.
“Intertextile Shanghai is the perfect platform to demonstrate how we’re going ‘All In’ with our customers,” said Jason Wang, Lycra Asia vice president. “We designed our exhibit space to emphasise deeper collaboration and stronger partnerships while showcasing our innovative, market-relevant solutions.”
