This is another milestone in the history of the company's expansion to Europe, the manufacturer reports. Last year it already has opened the European Sales Office in Eschborn near Frankfurt.

European consumers

There have been smaller orders for high quality down material from new European customers in Austria and Germany in the recent past, however, Snowbird now starts to target the European consumers for high quality down bedding products by looking for potential European strategic partners.

"My father, Changzai Yan, the former CEO of the company, built the Snowbird Group for nearly two decades and today we are well positioned,” commented Zhaorui Yan, since January 2016 the CEO of Snowbird AG.

“Our new down production facility in Puyang is running at a high utilization and our massive investments in the new sewing plant nearby start paying off. In the future we also want to grow in Europe, especially with our high quality down bedding products that contribute the best gross profit margin to the Group's results."
