According to a new market report by Smithers Apex, the global nonwovens market will experience projected annual growth rates of 7.6% (tonnage) between 2013 and 2018. Geographically, Asia will continue to grow in both tonnage and market share reaching 47.5% by 2018, with Europe maintaining its second position while North America remains in the third place.
As such, EDANA and ITMA 2015 organiser MP Expositions will jointly organise a Nonwovens Forum on 16 November at ITMA in Milan, Italy, with a theme of 'Nonwovens: A World of Growth and Opportunities' to address pertinent issues, challenges and opportunities in the rapidly evolving world of nonwovens.
In the forum, Jacques Prigneaux, the Market Analysis and Economic Affairs Director of EDANA (Belgium), will provide a good insight of 2014 production figures for nonwovens including the recent trends and forecast together with the international trade dynamics.
