INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, has joined with China Nonwovens & Industrial Textiles Association (CNITA) to co-organize a new nonwovens event in Asia – the China International Nonwovens Expo & Forum (CINE) that is set to take place from 14-16 October in Shanghai, China.

Also organizing the event are China Council for the Promotion of International Trade’s Sub-Council of Textile Industry (CCPIT-TEX) and Messe Frankfurt.  The event will include a trade show at the Shanghai Mart and an international forum/symposium prior to the show.

Focus on nonwovens in China

This new event is unique in its sole focus on nonwovens in China while other events in the country also include technical textiles and textile equipment.

According to the event organizers, CINE will be “the most important event in Asia for nonwovens this fall,” and represents an excellent new promotional venue for suppliers of raw materials, machinery and equipment, nonwoven roll or matt goods, converters, consultants, and brand owners.

“We are delighted to co-organize this new event in China for nonwovens and to elevate our relationship with CNITA to a strategic alliance where we constructively act together to advance the industry,” said Dave Rousse, President of INDA. “We encourage all players in our industry to take advantage of this new event to expand their reach to an important and growing market in China.”
