Sciessent, a provider of customized antimicrobial, anti-odour, anti-pilling, and water repellent solutions, has filed applications for registration of the company’s Silver Zeolite and Silver Copper Zeolite technologies with the Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA). Full approval from the PMRA could come in as soon as 2023.

Sciessent is a leader in advocating for silver’s safe usage in textiles and apparel with CEO, Paul Ford, as co-chair of the Silver Task Force North America (STFNA) and the former chair of the EU Silver Task Force. In response to filing to the registration in Canada, Mr. Ford commented: “This is a big step forward in enhancing Sciessent’s leadership in global registrations and data development. With additional recent filings for registration in Korea and Turkey completed earlier this year, we look forward to further expanding our worldwide reach.”
