The material will be used on three sculptural handbags – Loulou, Bailey and Tessa East West. Innovera is completely animal free and combines beauty, strength and sustainability in one material.

The collection debuts in deep chocolate tones and showcases three distinctive, geometric silhouettes. Loulou, with its half-moon form, balances a structured frame with supple suede sides. Bailey, a structured handle bag, is crafted with sharp contours and reinforced at handles and edges with Elevate, the bio-based leather alternative from Uncaged Innovations, for easy day to day use. Completing the trio is Tessa, which has elongated proportions and a structure which interprets the modern East-West style in biobased materials. Each handbag is handcrafted in Melina Bucher’s German atelier, uniting traditional craftsmanship with future-oriented material science.

With more than 80% renewable or recycled carbon content, Innovera also eliminates the ethical cost of animal-derived suede and offers a mainly biobased alternative to synthetic microfibres.
