Elif Iplik is installing a third Brückner stenter dryer at its plant in KahramanmaraÅŸ, Turkey,

Founded as a yarn producer in 1999, the company later added its own knitting mill and in 2017 established an in-house dyeing and finishing plant with a daily production of 40 tons of fabric.

At that time, Elif Iplik opted to buy two Brückner stenters, along with two less expensive machines from a local manufacturer. With the four machines operating side-by-side since 2018, the company has been able to make a direct comparison of the machines from the two suppliers.

In deciding on the need for a fifth stenter at the end of 2020, to increase its capacity by a daily ten tons, Elif Iplik again opted for a Brückner machine.

“The most important thing for us is the large production capacity, the high quality of goods and the machine’s flexibility,” said Elif Iplik general manager Hayri TaÅŸdemir. “Customer requirements are changing constantly and we have to be able to react to them immediately in order to remain competitive. With Brückner and its Turkish representative Inter Tekstil we have definitely chosen the right technology partners.”

During the commissioning of the earlier lines, the complete operating team at Elif Iplik was extensively trained and afterwards Brückner provided support with advice on the optimum setting of machine parameters, cleaning and maintenance.

With the Brückner stenter frames, Elif Iplik is saving energy costs, running more production in less time and achieving high fabric quality, justifying its latest decision to invest in technology that while more expensive in the short-term, will quickly begin to pay dividends.
