Leading global association for the nonwovens and related industries EDANA has announced the launch of a new award for the nonwovens industry, specifically aimed at the Asia Pacific region.
“EDANA is keen to provide companies located in, or manufacturing products for the Asia Pacific markets, giving those leading companies a platform to showcase their innovative products or services,” said Abby Bailey, Marketing and Communications Director, EDANA.
“Outlook Asia has already been established as a must-attend event for innovative companies based or with an interest in Asia Pacific, and is recognised as connecting the fast-growing nonwovens industries across the continent.”
Opportunity to present
Companies can nominate either a nonwoven product, a product containing nonwoven elements, or a service for personal care and hygiene, which has been developed, designed, manufactured and/or is on sale in Asia Pacific, including Australia, New Zealand and the Indian subcontinent.
All submissions should be entered to the electronic web form by the close of business on 7 November. Short-listed finalists will then be given the opportunity to present their product or service at the conference, and delegates will be asked to vote for their preferred company. The winner will be announced at ceremony at the close of the conference.
Unique conference
In its second edition, Outlook Asia will take place from 26-27 November in Singapore. This time it is part of the EDANA global Outreach programme to extend the reach of its established events to new markets, and offers a unique conference and networking event for the nonwovens personal care products industry, with a two-day event in Singapore.
Outlook Asia offers the nonwovens personal care products supply chain, access to and support in this leading region. The conference offers delegates networking opportunities with participants from across the global personal care products supply chain, ideal facilities for additional business meetings and top level speakers, presenting topics tailored to the needs of executives from the personal care products industry.
Product presentations
Opening the event with the keynote address will be Martin Riant, Group President, Global Baby, Feminine & Family Care, Procter & Gamble, speaking on the Key Opportunities and Challenges Facing Absorbent Hygiene Products Market Growth in Emerging and Developing Markets.
Participating companies will once again have the opportunity to use one of the product presentation time slots, to present their company and service or products to the conference delegates and other guests.
