In her new role, Harris will work with North American apparel brands and retailers to increase the reach of Nilit premium nylon 6.6 products, including its newest brand, Sensil. Sensil Nylon 6.6 is soft, strong, and durable, and retains newness after many wearings and washings. Its performance features include inherent odour control, temperature management, moisture management, and UV resistance.

“We are pleased to welcome Kirsten to the Nilit marketing team,” said Berardi. “Her deep product and supply chain experience will help raise Nilit’s profile in the rapidly-changing North American apparel market as we continue to elevate our product offering, global sourcing matrix and brand partnerships in response to the demands of today’s discriminating, savvy consumer.”

Harris comes to Nilit with more than 23 years of experience in apparel product management, development and global sourcing, most recently at Amazon, where she was senior brand manager for private label activewear. Prior jobs include product development manager for women’s active at Nordstrom and several positions of increasing responsibility at Nike.

Harris will report on a global basis to Vice President of Global Marketing and R&D Pierluigi Berardi, and locally to Fred Indermaur, President, Nilit America. “Kirsten will help drive new Sensil marketing initiatives to expand awareness of the superior comfort and longevity of Nylon 6.6 apparel, including among dynamic, smaller brands that prefer to source locally from our domestic yarn and fabric partners,” commented Added Indermaur.

Headquartered in Israel, Nilit, a leading producer and marketer of high-quality type 6.6 nylon fibres for apparel fabrics and other products, has manufacturing and marketing operations in key regions worldwide including Europe, USA, Turkey, Latin America, Asia Pacific and China. The company offers a comprehensive range of products and services for apparel and engineering thermoplastics applications.
