The Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI) has announced a new global online platform for PPE needs operated by Insum, a Montreal software company. The IFAI issued the following statement.

“The following is brought to you through IFAI's ongoing effort to keep you updated on the latest information regarding the COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic. We are sharing this information with the industry at large so we may all work together to collectively address this worldwide crisis.

Insum, a Montreal software company, launched a global online platform to allow healthcare facilities worldwide to login and post needs for Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) in response to the COVID-19/Coronavirus pandemic. Companies or organizations willing to donate hand-made products, such as masks, can connect with facilities by entering search data including country and state. Items are mailed or delivered to the perspective facility. Since its launch, the site has been utilized by facilities in Canada, as well as the U.S., Egypt and Philippines.”
