P2i was promoting its ion-mask technology at the ISPO Munich show last weekend (29 January - 1 February 2012). 

 The UK based company announced that ion-mask has now surpassed the three million shoes milestone and production capacity is set to double with the relocation of the processing facility in Dongguan, China.  

"The move to the new facility will enable us to double our processing capacity while optimizing throughput and maintaining great technical effect. Our success with ion-mask is not only demonstrated by the sheer number of shoes processed, but also the commitment from brands as they roll out the technology onto an increasing range of products - including hats and gloves,"  Dr. Stephen Coulson, P2i's CTO commented.
