Saurer appoints new CEO at Schlafhorst and Zinser

Two brands, Schlafhorst and Zinser, are the market and innovation leaders for roving and ring spinning, rotor spinning as well as winding, employing 2,000 people worldwide.

As part of changes within management, Jan Röttgering will take over the position of General Manager Rotor Spinning within the business unit, allowing a higher focus on individual product lines.

Experience in textile machinery

Dr Folini has a long experience in the textile machinery as well as high precision machinery industry. He graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich with a PhD.

For over 15 years he worked in the textile industry for the Rieter Group, first as Head of Manufacturing and Procurement and then as CEO of Spun Yarn Systems. Since 2009, he successfully lead the Pfiffner Group, Switzerland, a leading supplier of efficient, automatic high precision industrial machines, as CEO.

Saurer Group
