Trützschler Man-Made Fibers is expanding its successful Optima fibre extrusion system with new versions for industrial yarns.

Since 2012, the company has been developing and building high-performance extrusion lines for BCF (bulk continuous filament) carpet yarns and industrial/technical yarns made of polyester, polyamide and polypropylene.

The market launch of the modular Optima concept for BCF took place in 2019 and has subsequently firmy established itself on the market.

The new TEC-O40 and TEC-O80 Optima systems for industrial yarn are characterised by maximum flexibility in end products and can be tailored precisely to meet a specific product and  throughput requirements. The technologies enable the production of high-tenacity yarns for applications such as shoelaces, ropes and nets, as well as low-shrinkage qualities for tyre cords, truck tarpaulins and airbags. As they are modular, they can be quickly adapted to new market developments and end products.
