Techtextil was launched in India in 2007 and its success led to the foundation of consecutive shows. The second edition in 2009 had a participation of 110 exhibitors and a footfall of 6339 business visitors (including Heimtextil India) and 2011 edition had a participation of 130 exhibitors and 3814 business visitors reinforcing Techtextil India as one place to network, gather market information and fill your sales pipeline.

The next edition of Techtextil India, the trade show for technical textiles and nonwovens, will be taking place from 24-26 September 2015 at the BEC, Mumbai.

The 2013 edition of Techtextil India witnessed a much larger audience with a 46% increase in business visitors; paired with a 50% increase in exhibiting companies.

The show also saw a 20% increase in international exhibitors from 16 countries. Several companies used Techtextil as a platform to launch new and innovative products to the industry.
