Following its acquisition of competitor Gerber Technology at the start of June, Paris-headquartered Lectra quickly followed up with the acquisition of fellow French company Neteven.

Neteven has developed a SaaS (software as a service) platform which enables brands to simplify and effectively monitor the distribution of their products on the world’s largest online marketplaces. The platform centralises the brand’s product catalogue and information on stock levels, sales prices and orders, in order to automate and facilitate distribution on online marketplaces.

In order to further strengthen its software prtofolio, Lectra has this month acquired Romanian company Gemini CAD Systems, the developer of several software solutions for small and medium-sized fashion companies with a network of partners and presence in over 60 countries.

“We are thrilled to welcome the talented teams of Gemini who have created impressive software solutions that are relevant to the way fashion companies wish to work today,” said Daniel Harari, chairman and CEO of Lectra. “Gemini’s product portfolio complements Lectra’s software offer, which has already been strengthened by the recent acquisition of Gerber Technology. Together, we will create synergies and bring new, disruptive innovations to the fashion industry.”
