Casualwear retailer Tillys has partnered with Recover, the Spanish producer of low-impact recycled cotton fibre and blends, to introduce the RSQ capsule collection.

Exclusively sold at Tillys stores across 33 US states, RSQ is an affordable premium denim brand and features a wide variety of fabrics and styles. The new capsule collection’s items all contain a minimum of 20% Recover low-impact recycled cotton.

“We are constantly looking to reduce our impact on the environment specifically in the reduction of waste, pollution and carbon output,” said Ed Thomas, Tillys president and CEO. “Partnering with Recover is in full alignment with our aim to incorporate more recycled cotton into our products.”

Recover uses textile waste that would otherwise end up in landfill to create high-quality recycled cotton fibre that significantly reduces the carbon and water footprint of the apparel produced with it.

“We are delighted to celebrate this new partnership with Tillys, helping to reduce the environmental impacts created by the fashion industry and pave the way towards a more sustainable future,” said Alfredo Ferre, Recover CEO.
