Brückner to exhibit latest technical textiles solutions at Techtextil 2017

For the finishing of nonwovens and foils, the manufacturer offers models of its Supra-Flow BX double belt oven for nonwovens.

The German systems supplier Brückner will showcase a wide range of technical textiles applications which can be finished on its tailor-made and resource-saving machines at the Techtextil trade show, taking place in Frankfurt from 9-12 May.

The company’s experts are inviting visitors to Techtextil to learn more about its products. For the finishing of nonwovens and foils, the manufacturer offers its Supra-Flow BX double belt oven for nonwovens and the innovative Etro bow-shaped dryer, which is particularly suitable for coating with PVC or adhesives.

In addition, Brückner offers different application systems for the coating of technical textiles, such as the Eco-Coat minimum application unit.

Brückner’s product range also boasts padders, drying, heat-setting and curing ovens with maximum production capacity and lowest energy consumptions and the highest precision in the temperature distribution and air circulation, according to the manufacturer. “Various cutting and winding machines to give a shape to technical textiles of any kind round off the product portfolio,” the company reports.

Location

The Southwest of Germany is a centre for technical textiles producrtion, which amount to about 50% of the region’s textile production. The family-owned company, managed in the second generation by the owner Regina Brückner, together with her husband Axel Pieper, is located in Leonberg, in Swabia, and Tittmoning, in Bavaria.

According to the manufacturer, the proximity to textile research institutes, such as the ITV in Denkendorf, allows facilitate many joint projects and developments which employ the special machines made by Brückner.

Applications

Some examples for the final applications processed the Brückner finishing lines include: woven glass fabric for circuit boards, carbon textile for textile-reinforced concrete, linings for walls and roofs in the field of automotive and aerospace, airbags, high-tech filters for the medical industry, hygiene articles, and geo nonwovens for bank reinforcement.
