“By developing innovative reinforcements made from fibre glass or carbon, we can improve the performance of composite parts and meet the specific demands of the marine market – reduced weight, improved surface finish and better resin flow,” said Vincent Cholvy, Marine market manager at Chomarat.

“Chomarat is a leader in the marine reinforcements market. Our DNV GL certification confirms this expertise and proves that we are now ready to conquer new markets requiring this qualification.”

The group’s expertise in the manufacturing processes of composite parts (infusion, RTM and RTM Light) enables Chomarat to support its customers in reinforcement design and material choice.

“Engineers at our plants are also able to measure and simulate the permeability of reinforcements and structures, mechanical performance and the quality of surface appearance on finished parts,” explained Claude Chabal, Product Manager.
