Techtextil North America represents all vertical aspects of the technical textile industry from research and development, through raw materials and production processes, to conversion, further treatment and recycling.

Leading technical textile and nonwovens companies will showcase the latest products and technological advancements in textiles, nonwovens and materials during Techtextil North America 2014 that will be taking place from 13-15 May 2014 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Techtextil North America represents all vertical aspects of the technical textile industry from research and development, through raw materials and production processes, to conversion, further treatment and recycling.

Exhibitors and special features

Safety Components will be showcasing its extensive array of FR fabrics for improved military, workwear and fire fighting markets, as well as new high-UV resistant materials for outdoor applications.

Highland plans to use the show as an opportunity to expand upon the recent introduction of three anticipated products. These include a wide angle Hi Flex fabric for the power transmission belt market; laminated composite fabrics for high pressure sealing applications in the oil and gas industry; and its high strength carbon braided materials for the automotive, industrial and recreational markets.

Dilo is expected to emphasise recent developments and the latest equipment components improving web quality and uniformity.

Country pavilions

Germany, China, Belgium and Italy will be organising pavilions on the show floor again this year. UBI France will be joining the exhibit hall floor with a pavilion for the first time.

Special Features will include the first annual edition of a Graduate Student Poster Program Techtextil North America.

The programme will give graduate students the opportunity to present their research to industry professionals on the show floor. The top five posters chosen from industry judges will be presented during the symposium.
